Position Title: Systems Analyst, Graduate & Extended Studies

Position Summary or Faculty Qualifications
The Systems Analyst plays a leadership role serving as the primary functional contact for
graduate, adult, and non-credit information systems. This position is responsible for managing the implementation and maintenance of recruitment, enrollment, advising, and student success platforms for the graduate, adult, and non-credit student populations. The Analyst plays a strategic role in linking the technical aspects of an integrated system with the programmatic needs of the division and University. The Analyst must communicate and work
effectively with key administrators as well as end-users within the division and other areas of the University, serving as a liaison with Information Technology, Enrollment Management, the Registrar, Marketing
Communications, and Institutional Effectiveness. The Analyst must maintain a high level of confidentiality, creativity and flexibility and must have the ability to think outside the box, to see the advantages of looking at an issue from a variety of perspectives, and must be comfortable asking questions.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Partner with IT to manage the implementation of technology initiatives within graduate and extended studies and the broader University community.
• Play a strategic role in identifying opportunities to apply technology in innovative ways to improve recruitment, enrollment & business processes.
• Serve as subject matter expert for the University’s CRM, Slate, including leading and training on best practices for using the platform for enrollment and communication purposes.
• Provide ongoing training and technical support to maximize the use of the Starfish student success and retention platform by faculty and program staff.
• Design or optimize platform-ready reports and analytical tools to support the evaluation of marketing, recruitment, admissions, and retention efforts.
• In consultation with the CRM Product Portfolio Manager and software governance groups, lead the onboarding process for new programs and updates of existing programs in Slate and other technologies.
• Work with the enrollment areas, registrar’s office, IT, Institutional Effectiveness, and marketing communications to utilize Slate or other systems to carry out a non-credit strategy.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree

Two years related experience
Demonstrated experience managing CRM technology

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish effective collaborative relationships within graduate and extended studies, across departmental lines, and among IT personnel is essential.

Organizational, oral and written communication skills are required.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in technology-related field, data analytics, or marketing
