    Your expertise in the manufacturing domain will help Pfizer with the operations required for the oversight or operational activities involved in the facilities support of MAP MOD 1.

    As part of the MAP facilities team, you will be a team member who is relied on to have a good understanding of procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and equipment.

    How You Will Achieve It

    • Execute facility management tasks throughout the MAP MOD1 facility, including routine facility cleaning, waste management, and material delivery/pickup.

    • Work with core project team to maintain facility through qualification and fulfill ad-hoc project needs (ie. Special cleaning, training, etc.)

    • Provide feedback on facility documents (SOPs, OJTs, electronic logs) relating to job function.

    • Ensure all work is performed in a safe manner and in accordance with established safety policies and regulations.

    • Adhere to all PPE/Gowning requirements for the area assigned to work.

    • Perform all necessary documentation, including required labels, cleaning forms, room logs, work orders, electronic transactions, etc.in accordance with ALCOA/GMP documentation requirements.

    • Perform any other duties assigned by the Production Supervisor or Team Lead.

    • Maintain individual attendance and training in accordance with site/departmental policies.

    • Communicate effectively up and down the Chain of Command.

    • Operate cleaning and sanitization equipment per site procedures.

    • Utilize powered industrial vehicles to transport materials throughout facility as required.

    • Notify Team Lead, Manager or appropriate individuals of equipment malfunctions and process deviations, including problems with systems or materials.

    Qualifications

    Must have

    High school diploma / general education degree (GED) plus: 

    • An associate degree, OR 

    • Veteran/Military experience, OR 

    • Six months of relevant work experience in a manufacturing or GMP facility (e.g. current or previous Pfizer colleague or contractor or similar)

    • Ability to learn to use industry standard software

    • Attention to detail, a sense of urgency and the ability to work unsupervised

    • Must have good interpersonal skills in order to maintain good employee relations and train others

    • Good English reading, writing, and speaking skills

    • Ability to work in changing environments and with competing priorities

    PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

    • lifting/lowering up to 55 pounds, working in high elevations (above 6 feet), and reaching/standing/walking/stooping/crawling. 

    • Able to wear safety PPE (Hard hat, body harness, face shield) 

    • Able to work under clean room (Grade C/D) environments with appropriate gowning 

    NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

    Our MAP operations will start on a 8 hour shift schedule. We anticipate running our operations on 1st with some overtime. We will reassess our schedule (8 vs 12 hrs) in about 18-24 months based on business needs and prior to running 24/7.

The salary for this position ranges from $20.33 to $33.89 per hour. In addition, this position offers eligibility for overtime, weekend, holiday and other pay premiums depending on the work schedule and the Company’s policies.
