Job Description

Summary

The position will include efforts including TCH Adult Consult Service, Harris Health Outpatient service, BSLMC Consult service, Baylor Medicine Outpatient PM&R service, and BSLMC General Inpatient Rehabilitation Service.

The physician's scope of practice shall be revisited by the physician and the department chair periodically, and in good faith for purposes of expanding the physician's general physical medicine and rehabilitation practice.

Job Duties

  • Call coverage as assigned.
  • Clinical and educational research.
  • Administrative research.
  • Education and training of residents, fellows, and students.
  • Participation in committees, among other administrative duties.
  • Attendance of faculty meetings, grand rounds, and other special lectures.
  • Participation in quality improvement and patient safety efforts.
  • Comply with regulatory requirements related to patient care, and Baylor College of Medicine.
  • Active Participation in faculty reviews and other departmental meetings, retreats, and activities.
  • Perform other discipline and specialty specific duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Residency/fellowship in PMR and Texas License.
