Job Description

The Department Support Supervisor provides support and assistance to the Program/Division management team for administrative and program office operations. This position acts as the primary contact for support staff for daily operations, hiring, orientation, and performance appraisals; assists the administrator with efficiency and re-engineering studies and other projects as necessary. Supervises all administrative and support staff. 

JOB SUMMARY 

  • Supervises administrative staff and coordinates administrative activities of the program office on behalf of the Department Administrator and Department Chair. High degree of independent action is required, and decisions are made within the context of program policies and procedures and within the scope of responsibility designed by the DA.
  • Responsible for coordinating internal and external resources to fulfill the goals and objectives of the program in a timely and financially responsible manner.
  • Responsible for all faculty, APP and staff timekeeping (KRONOS), moonlighter scheduling and payroll, asset inventory, space and facility issues. Manages administrative coordination of onboarding and out-processing, faculty clinic templates, and schedule changes.Oversees program purchases and supplies inventory.  Maintains program SOPs related to performance standards for the MAs and EAs.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Education Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree – (business or related field)
  • May substitute combination of experience and education.
