Job Description

Serves as subject matter expert associated with content, customer operational processes, regulatory requirements and IT support procedures related to assigned Health System applications. Is able to analyze and document user system and application needs, identify and evaluate alternative solutions and approaches to meeting those needs, help select the optimal solution and implement those solutions with guidance from more senior staff. Provides direct application support, updating and maintaining system setup, system configuration and application settings where appropriate.
Under general supervision performs and/or coordinates installation, maintenance, and modification of assigned Health System applications to meet customer and Health System requirements.
Acts as the liaison between the operational or functional users areas, vendors, and other technical staff.
Communicates technical requirements to teammates and management and provides assistance to teammates in an effort to enhance the overall services provided by the team.
Maintains or develops application and process documentation.
Responsibilities and tasks are completed according to established standards within the assigned timeframe, with guidance from more senior staff as needed. Includes use of project management and service management tools.
Solutions developed or modified are thoroughly tested to prevent production implementation problems.
Communicates appropriately and professionally at all times.
In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.
This position is eligible for work from home but will still involve regular onsite work in Charlottesville, VA. Relocation assistance may be provided.

Position Compensation Range: $28.25 - $45.19 Hourly
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor's Degree required
Experience: 3 years of relevant experience

Preferred candidates will have experience supporting Agility Hospital Employee Health software and/or Stix software.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings and provide application support.
