Job Description
Summary
Evaluates and treats outpatient adults with communication disorders and/or swallowing disorders. This position is located at the Fournace Outpatient Neurological Rehabilitation Clinic at Harris Health System.
Job Duties
- Schedules appointments, discusses patient progress and/or status with physicians and other professionals.
- Provides patient/family education.
- Monitors patient needs.
- Documents daily treatment and evaluation results.
- May supervise student externs.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
- One year of relevant experience.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Texas State Licensure as a Speech Pathologist from the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation (TDLR).
