Job Description
Position Highlights:
- Coordinates the clinical activities of the Nutrition Therapy section of the Nutrition and Nutrition Support departments.
- Provides direct patient care services and supervisory direction to the RD, CDE and NST staff. Works collaboratively with multiple disciplines and departments throughout the cancer center.
The Ideal Candidate
- The ideal candidate will have the following:
- 5 years’ experience in a hospital setting
- Minimum 2 years’ clinical experience in Nutrition Therapy Services at Moffitt Cancer Center or comparable oncology experience
- Experience in a leadership role
- Master’s Degree in Dietetics
- Certified specialist in Oncology
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily departmental operations
- Supervise staff
- Participate in new employee process
- Review and update policies and procedures
- Complete evaluations and follow-ups for inpatients and/or outpatients
- Participate in interdisciplinary team planning and coordination of care
- Oversee the RD intern coordinator
- Lead QA projects
Credentials and Qualifications:
- Florida Dietitian License
- BLS Certification
