Position Summary
Precision Developmental Science (Advanced Assistant, Associate or Full Professor)

The Department of Psychological & Brain Sciences (PBS) at Indiana University (IU) Bloomington invites applications for a Tenured/Tenure-track hire in developmental science at the level of Associate or Full Professor; advanced Assistant Professors with comparably strong records of scholarship and extramural funding will also be considered. We seek applicants working in any area of developmental science with a strong interdisciplinary program of research. The position is part of a new initiative in Precision Developmental Science. Like precision medicine, the focus is on understanding individuals and their unique cascading developmental pathways. IU has long been an international leader in integrative developmental science. This initiative is designed to build on these existing strengths and maintain IU’s position at the forefront of research on the complex factors that underlie human development.

The Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences is known for interdisciplinary and cross-area collaborations and innovation, with strong connections with the Programs in Cognitive Science, Vision Science, and Neuroscience, the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering, the School of Public Health, and the IU School of Medicine. Minimum Qualifications: A PhD in psychology, neuroscience, cognitive science, computer science, or a related field, and a distinguished record of research appropriate for a tenured professorship at IU Bloomington.
