ROLE SUMMARY
The Revenue Management (RM) Digital Solutions team manages technology strategy and delivery for the Pfizer’s Commercial Business Units, the Global Access and Value (GAV) organization and Pfizer Commercial Finance teams. The team plays a critical role in ensuring Patients can easily access Pfizer’s breakthrough medicines through contracting opportunities with Payer and Providers.
This role will be responsible to configure, maintain and enhance a strategic technology platform and related reporting dashboards that support market access pre-deal analytics, post-deal analytics and broader performance reporting. These web-based tools are used by Market Access Strategy, Pricing and Analytics (MASPA) teams that are responsible for payer and provider contract analytics. The candidate will be accountable for finding the most effective ways for technology to support Pfizer’s business objectives in these domains and optimize the return on all technology investments.
The ideal candidate would be someone with advanced knowledge of Data Integration tools, Data Architecture, data profiling/quality tools, AWS services, Tableau, Snowflake, Informatica Cloud Services, Airflow, Dataiku AI/ML tools, and some knowledge of building APIs.
This role will work closely with functional and technical leads and become a subject matter expert with solutions to identify, develop, and deploy processes and reporting. The role will lead Deal Insights Platform data integration, create analytic solutions, and utilize data prep and visualization platforms.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages overall data integration workstream develops, prioritizes and recommends initiatives to build upon the data architecture to support the business.
Evaluates the design, selection, and implementation of database changes by comparing them with business requirements and design documents
Maintaining data management plans and instructions for operating complex business systems
Ensures consistency of process and usage, and champions best practices in data management oversee data accuracy processes, goals and assessment.
Works with product owners to prioritize features for ongoing sprints and manages a list of technical requirements based on business needs, new technologies, known defects, and issues.
Develops database design and documentation for the management and executive teams
Assisting the technology, systems and process workstreams to define the shared data model vision, data sourcing, data transformation and data reconciliation approach.
Planning and overseeing the day-to-day running of the workstream/team and delivery of milestones
Being Accountable for the end-to-end on-time delivery of program outcomes and the delivery of agreed benefits in line with the budget
Defining program outcomes and business cases, ensuring alignment with respective business units
Coordinating across many stakeholders, creating a collaborative network with critical internal and external stakeholders. This can include outside contractors such as software vendors, data providers.
Can work independently under close supervision, including making recommendations without significant oversight.

Build dashboard and reporting proofs of concept as needed; develop reporting and analysis templates and tools
Work in close collaboration with business teams throughout MASPA (Market Access Strategy Pricing and Analytics) to determine tool functionality/configuration and data requirements to ensure that the analytic capability is supporting the most current business needs
Partner with the Digital Client Partners to align on priorities, processes and governance and ensure experimentation to activate innovation and pipeline value
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
7+ years of relevant experience emphasizing application support, data modeling, development, or systems engineering.
7+ years of experience managing large projects/programs focused on Data Integration
5+ years of experience in deploying enterprise systems using AWS
Experience supporting applications and solutions in the pharmaceutical industry
Demonstrated expertise and capabilities in matrixed, cross-functional teams and influencing without authority
Demonstrated understanding of analytic tools/methods and the ability to generate vital customer insights and market intelligence.
Ability to effectively link insights to implications to inform strategy, planning and execution
Ability to work effectively across teams and organizations
Demonstrated ability to take appropriate risks, share responsibilities and credit, celebrate/reward accomplishments, and instill in others a sense of urgency and ownership
Demonstrated ability to prioritize the asset/assets priorities, value drivers, and resource allocation required to optimize growth
Proven experience and demonstrated skills with AWS services, Snowflake, Informatica Intelligence Cloud Services tools, Tableau and Dataiku
Must be experienced in DevSecOps tools JIRA, GitHub, Pytest and CI/CD tools
Experience in Database design tools and team collaborations tools
Deep knowledge of Agile methodologies and SDLC processes
Experience managing vendors and contracted resources in both a staff augmentation and outsourcing model.
Excellent written, interpersonal, and oral communication skills, communicate and liaise broadly across functions and the global organization.
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills
Ambition to learn and utilize emerging technologies while working in a stimulating team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Process-oriented with strong organization, project management and coordination skills.
Ability to adapt to changing working conditions and work assignments, to be open, and motivated to learn and adopt new ideas and concepts.
Knowledge of database, storage, hosting, cloud, application, analytics and services technologies.
Knowledge of Data Governance/ Data Catalog tools like Alation or Collibra
Knowledge of Model N FLEX and Contract Decision Support(CDS) solutions
Understanding of Market Access concepts and Payer/Provider analytics
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical syndicated data sets
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
Expectations around travel will be minimal but candidates must be capable of travel within the region, to other regions, and to other Pfizer sites.
Pfizer Digital is a 7x24x365 endeavor. This role may require physical or virtual participation on a weekend, holiday, or after normal business hours
