Job DescriptionThe Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at The University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine invites applications for an Instructor/Assistant Professor of General Obstetrics and Gynecology. This is a full-time, non-tenure track position.
Faculty position as an Obstetrician and Gynecologist.
Practice to include all clinical roles as an Obstetrician and Gynecologist
Supervisory role as in-house call rotating with other faculty members to provide mindful supervision covering Labor and Delivery, Emergency Gynecology Consults.
Participation in all teaching activities for residents and medical students including didactics, Socratic teaching and Dept Grand Rounds.
Completion of ACGME approved residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Board Certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Tennessee State license in good standing
Clinical experience preferred after residency
Special interest and experience in Minimally Invasive Gyn Surgery (MIGS) or completion of an approved fellowship in MIGS.
