ROLE SUMMARY

This role will act as a strategic partner, build best practices, and lead performance tracking and reporting for enterprise metrics, including leading patients treated workstream as it relates to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals, Pfizer Earnings, and quarterly tracking. The person in this role will collaborate closely with stakeholders in Biopharma and other corporate organizations, such as Executive Communications, Executive Operations, Global Health and Social Impact, Chief Marketing Office, various Business Units, Corporate Affairs, and Corporate Audit, etc.

This role is dynamic, fast-paced, highly collaborative, and covers a broad range of strategic topics that are critical to our business. The successful candidate will join Business Analytics and Insights (BAI) colleagues worldwide that are dedicated to helping drive business through proactive thought leadership, innovative research capabilities, and the ability to communicate complex and dynamic information in new and creative ways

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Role definition and Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop, maintain, and execute a regular cadence of patient treated workstream, including supporting production of annual ESG report and other reporting needs, as needed
  • Collaborate with key internal teams (including Sr. leadership, Executive Communications, Executive Operations, Global Health, and Social Impact) to manage process and communication of patient treated reporting.
  • Establish integration of various methodologies to track progress and streamline reporting, including proactively identifying opportunities to meet ESG goals and targets.
  • Serve as subject matter expert and influential advisor to Sr. Leadership, Executive Communications and Operations as it relates to patient treated workstream
  • Proactively identify issues, risk opportunities to solidify reporting
  • Develop and maintain related ESG disclosure controls and procedures and ensure team input and compliance
  • Educate and equip internal stakeholders across the company on appropriate methodologies, including data gaps and assumptions
  • Conduct regular benchmarking across industry trends and best practices
  • Engage and raise awareness of ESG commitments and progress to Commercial and BAI leadership to ensure aligned activities with all stakeholders
  • Contribute to the evolution of corporate ESG reporting as it relates to patient metrics

Technical Skills

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong analytical skills to be able to synthesize and validate various inputs, and ability to communicate “the story” to senior leadership
  • Demonstrated knowledge of quantitative methodologies to estimate global patients treated
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to inform, advise, influence and comfort level with senior communication.
  • Knowledge of industry ESG reporting and standards is a plus
  • Extensive experience in the design and management of secondary data analytics and reporting
  • Previous demonstrated experience in using innovative techniques to monitor, simulate and analyze complex data sets preferred.
  • Ability to assess and direct vendor technical capabilities and manage risks in the analytic process.
  • Ability to be flexible, prioritize multiple demands, deal with ambiguity, and lead teams through complex and challenging cross-functional projects.
  • Recognized expertise and coach to others on connecting, integrating, and synthesizing analysis into a meaningful ‘so what’ to drive clear strategic recommendations and enable commercial decision making.
  • Proven ability to act as a strategic partner with the capacity to quickly establish relationships of trust, credibility, and be seen as a driving partner to internal clients.
  • Ability to identify, prioritize and describe relevant caveats and uncertainties in various datasets and methodologies, including how they relate to the business question and broader strategic priorities.
  • Previous demonstrated Business / Financial acumen.

Experience

  • 10+ years’ experience in Biopharma, analytics, strategic consulting, business, or related area
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) required. Masters (or equivalent) preferred in a quantitative discipline
  • Analytics, statistics and/or database knowledge and experience (using tools, applications, platforms, etc.)
  • Demonstrated success in a highly fast-paced setting
  • Ability to identify new issues, trends, and opportunities from data
  • Ability to influence without authority, setting business direction, priorities, and action plans
  • Demonstrated analytical capabilities and critical thinking sills
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with cross-functional teams of diverse colleagues
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service orientation

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $144,900.00 to $241,500.00. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan, paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Salary range does not apply to the Tampa, FL location.

Relocation assistance may be available based on business needs and/or eligibility.
