What You Will Achieve 
In the Aseptic Manufacturing team, you will be accountable for the oversight or operational activities involved in the aseptic cleaning and/or other chemical cleaning involved in Pfizer's manufacturing plants and/or distribution centers. Your work will involve determining manufacturing methods, procedures, and tooling requirements,  designing tools and planning production sequences.   
 

As part of the Technical Operations team, you are recognized as a subject matter expert with specialized knowledge and skills in procedures, techniques, tools, materials and equipment. You will be entrusted with adapting standard methods and procedures by applying your knowledge, prior work experience and requirements. Your business awareness of cross-organizational impact on project delivery will elevate the quality of project deliverables. You will make decision about the methods and procedures that are the best fit for different work situations. You will train others and reinforce behaviors that will help us achieve our goal of providing the best healthcare to our patients.

How You Will Achieve It 

  • Manage own time, professional development and be accountable for own results. 

  • Prioritize own workflow, allocate work to others and assist in establishing their priorities. 

  • Develop and conduct aseptic gowning training and qualification activities for colleagues in multiple operating areas.   

  • Develop and conduct periodic audits of aseptic practices and behaviors in aseptic environments in collaboration with Operations personnel and Quality enablers.    

  • Support the development and implementation of training programs, curricula, procedures and pertinent documents to address the skills & behaviors required to ensure that the aseptic area(s) operate in compliance. 

  • Serve as ongoing technical resource to the aseptic operating areas, overseeing that production lots are manufactured under required aseptic behaviors and practices as well as Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) and/or Good Manufacturing Principles (GMP) requirements.   

  • Provide/assist in training as necessary, presents information to large groups in some cases.  

  • Work within the site change control systems to update compliance documents.   

  • Suggest/drive improvements in systems, equipment and processes to improve compliance and/or efficiency.

 

Qualifications :

 

Must-Have 

  • Bachelor's Degree or High School GED + 6 years related experience.

  • Effective written and oral communication skills.  

  • Computer Skills in Microsoft applications, Plateau (PLS). 

  • Demonstrated reading comprehension and writing proficiency at level that meets role requirements.   

 

Nice-to-Have 

  • Previous operations experience in aseptic work environments.  

  • Prior training experience. 

  • Ability to effectively communicate with diverse individuals/groups resulting in desired outcomes. 

  • Leader behaviors are an important part of this position especially teamwork, integrity, open discussion and debate and performance. 

 
 

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Able to work under full clean room (GRADE A/B/C/D) environments with appropriate gowning.

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

Positions are staffed across all three shifts (1st: 0600-1430, 2nd:1400-2230, and 3rd: 2200-0630).  Weekend, holiday, and overtime may be required to meet business or customer needs.

The salary for this position ranges from $23.95 to $39.92 per hour. In addition, this position offers eligibility for overtime, weekend, holiday and other pay premiums depending on the work schedule and the Company’s policies.
