As a successful candidate, you will:

As a Product Manager, Innovation & Digital Strategy you will be responsible for the development and ongoing management of digital innovation products, solutions, and projects. The Product Manager is responsible for developing and managing digital healthcare solutions, experiences and services that improve patient care, streamline healthcare operations, and enhance overall health system efficiency. This role requires a deep understanding of healthcare systems, technology trends, and user needs. The Digital Innovation Product Manager works closely with cross-functional teams, including healthcare professionals, software developers, marketing, designers, and other stakeholders to drive the development and adoption of digital health products that align to City of Hope’s strategic objectives.

Product Strategy/Development:

  • Define and communicate the vision and strategy for digital healthcare products within the health system.
  • Identify market trends and user needs to inform product development.
  • Support product development and strategy work.

Product Management:

  • Lead the product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring that the product meets healthcare regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with software development, marketing, IT, clinical/ops and other internal teams to define product features and functionalities.
  • Prioritize product features, create user stories, and manage the product backlog. Actively develop and complete a data-driven product roadmap.
  • Own end-to-end outcomes for digital products that are intended to drive consumer & patient engagement and deliver outstanding consumer & patient experiences.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Work closely with internal matrix partners and end-users to gather insights and feedback for product development and ongoing improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinicians, IT, engineering, marketing, patient experience, and administrators.

Market Research:

  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities and risks in the healthcare technology landscape.
  • Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to keep the product relevant and compliant.
  • User Experience (UX) and Design:
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure the product offers an intuitive and user-friendly interface.
  • Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to refine the product's design.

Product Launch and Adoption:

  • Develop go-to-market strategies and marketing plans to promote the product among healthcare providers and administrators.
  • Create training materials and support user onboarding to ensure successful product adoption.
  • Communicate product updates, milestones, and objectives to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partner with Marketing on development of marketing plans, content, materials, and strategies to ensure promotion, adoption, utilization and growth of digital assets.

Performance Analysis/Monitoring:

  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success.
  • Regularly analyze data and user feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Consistently integrate behavior data and user feedback into key product decisions.
  • Quality Assurance, Compliance and Security:
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Your qualifications should include:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (i.e. healthcare, technology, public health, business)
  • 3 years of experience as a product manager or a related role

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $54.72 - $87.55 / hour

The estimated pay scale represents the typical [salary/hourly] range City of Hope reasonably expects to pay for this position, with offers determined based on several factors which may include, but not be limited to, the candidate’s experience, expertise, skills, education, job scope, training, internal equity, geography/market, etc. This pay scale is subject to change from time to time.
