Job Description
Management Assistant
Position Highlights:
- The Management Assistant represents and supports the mission, philosophy and goals of the Cancer Center and applies organizational and administrative/secretarial skills associated with the efficient operation of the overall Finance organization. This position will support the Finance area, particularly the special projects and implementation of process improvement across the departments.0
Responsibilities:
- Provides various administrative services across the finance functions related to special projects and process improvement initiatives
- General office duties:
- Schedule and calendar coordination
- Maintain/order the office supplies/equipment for department/area(s)
- Support duties for project teams
- Calendaring Meeting/event coordination and follow-up
- Coordinate travel arrangements for project teams as needed
- Scanning of various document support in accordance with record retention guidelines
- Type, reproduce and distribute correspondence or presentations
- Research/gather information
- Data management/reporting:
- Timekeeping for department/area(s) as needed
- Maintain or report from applicable departmental databases/systems
- General office duties:
Credentials and Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Minimum of five (5) years secretarial/office coordination experience
Additional Skills/Specialized Training:
- Competencies: Familiarity with office organization protocols and procedures. Discretion and judgment in handling confidential information. Familiarity with business terminology, software programs such as Word, Excel, and Power Point required.
