What You Will Achieve
You will have a key role to play in an organization that has people at its heart. You will be responsible for developing HR policies, programs and systems to unleash the power of our colleagues. You will build and maintain healthy and stable labor relations and workplace environment to support growth of the business and organization and to achieve business strategy/goal.
As a Senior Manager, you will be developing your memebrs in Employee Relations Group.
How You Will Achieve It
Establish and maintain good, stable and healthy labor union relations to support to achieve business strategy and goal
Develop HR policies, programs and systems in line with global direction and local needs and manage multiple projects within the Division or in a Corporate-wide initiatives.
Manage Employment Regulations and guidelines in line with legal requirement and business needs
Create and maintain good relationship with employees and good work environment to support them to unleash their powers
Ensure high standards ofcompliance to norms, policies and procedure and manage compliance related matters, labor issues and labor disputes properly
Manage and operate Integrity Committee as a secretariat function
Manage Japan specific HR operations tasks in collaboration with GBS and other related functions
Develop Employee Relations Team members for their growth
Work closely with leaders across People Experience Function, business and other key leadership rolein Japan as well as globally to develop and execute the People Experience strategy.
Continue to challenge convention, embrace uncertainty, focus on progress over perfection and engage with compassion and agile mindset.
Lead or provide support with Transformation, Mergers, Acquisitions, Divestitures and Restructurings.
Qualifications
Must-Have
Bachelor’s Degree and 7+ years ofexperience.
Experienceinleading organizations through significant change.
Experience in creating and implementing standard HR process.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in Japanese and English
Strategic and logical thinking skill, negotiation skill
Preferred
HR management experience. (strongly preferred)
Experience working with works councils/labor unions.(strongly preferred)
Knowledge of labor law and HR management theory
People management experience
Working experience in the global environment whether outside or in Japan
Analytical skill
Change management skill
Master’s degree and relevant pharmaceutical experience.
Know-how for/agility to learn HR platforms and technology.
Consultative, facilitation, coaching and engagement capabilities.
Advanced Microsoft Officesuite skills and strong competency with tools.
