What You Will Achieve

Your communication skills and innovative ideas will drive the growth of the business development team at Pfizer. Having an in-depth understanding of business planning and development, you will support the team in taking forward Pfizer’s strategic missions.

In your role, you will be involved in understanding customer requirements and developing them into organizational plans. You will use your extensive knowledge of internal/external business challenges and provide inputs for improving the processes of the business planning team. Your collaboration and negotiation skills will be leveraged to build meaningful relationships across the organization to evaluate and guide new market initiatives and analyze business opportunities. You will be able to take a leadership role to facilitate agreements between different teams.

Through your expertise and extensive knowledge, you will be able to foster a culture that promotes innovation and thrives on doing better for patients and healthcare.

How You Will Achieve It

  • Plan resource requirements (people, financial and technology) for projects across the division.
  • Provide strategic and operational business planning input and lead implementation to achieve results.
  • Provide guidance, lead/co-lead projects and manage own time to meet objectives,
  • Prepare and deliver project presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Establish highly collaborative, cross-functional relationships, partnerships with Asset, Project teams and other key stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage complex financial and valuation models.
  • Measure performance against established operational targets in line with Pfizer's vision and goals.
  • Ensure that all department metrics are followed and work with Pfizer Digital to automate tracking of Key Performance Indicators.
  • Manage performance metrics to resolve issues proactively, and provide input into both corrective action and continuous improvement activities.
  • Lead key initiatives that apply across different functions in your division.
  • Support team members with ad hoc and ongoing analytics and reporting requests.
  • Contributes to a learning environment by sharing with team members.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience with interdisciplinary drug development teams and industrial experience supporting analytical strategies and methods in support of product and process development
  • Experience in leading large and multi-disciplinary teams for critical projects
  • Understand and use analytical skills or tools to produce data in a clean, organized way to drive objective insights
  • Financially or analytically proficient, possesses strong understanding and expertise of expected cash flow modeling, economic value measures, and other types of analytical modeling
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with leaders and support staff across multiple areas
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, especially Excel

Nice-to-Have

  • Master's degree
  • Experience in healthcare preferred, especially in biopharmaceuticals
  • Knowledge of electronic document systems
  • Demonstrated technical writing skills, effective communication, and detail-oriented approach
