The Digital Revenue Management (RM) Creation Center team manages technology strategy and delivery for the US Market Access (USMA) Operations Business within the Global Access & Value (GAV) organization. Pharmaceutical pricing is at the forefront of the U.S. national discussion for healthcare costs. The RM Creation team plays a critical role in ensuring patients have access to breakthrough medicines through efficient channels at affordable pricing.

What You Will Achieve

You will help Pfizer build its information technology solutions. You will leverage your technical skills to design, develop and implement IT solutions which satisfy the short term or long terms needs of Pfizer. You will work on systems architecture, network systems and application infrastructure to deliver results.

In this role you will lead the solutions delivery work for the U.S. contract Insights application. This role will lead and manage the development work on the Contract Insights platform for multiple U.S. based business areas including Market Access Operations, Contract Strategy, Trade Operations, Channel Access, Customer Service Operations, Specialty Access, and Analytics. The candidate will collaborate with various digital groups including Client Partners, RM creation team, Digital Architecture, Digital Advanced Analytics, and external vendors. This role provides the opportunity to work with exciting breakthrough technologies, integrate with key enterprise systems and work with a wide array of business and digital leaders.

How You Will Achieve It

  • Lead Solutions Delivery for the entire Contract Insights platform.
  • Provide guidance, lead/co-lead projects, manage own time to meet objectives and plan resource requirements for projects across the division.
  • Act as a thought leader on emerging digital technologies.
  • Work within a team of product managers responsible for the vision, strategy, design, and roadmap of digital products for patients and the internal stakeholders.
  • Use technical acumen and knowledge of technologies to provide detailed advice regarding applications and executes specialized tasks.
  • Analyze trends, identify and lead implementation of process improvements.
  • Evaluate historical data and build appropriate models to understand user behavior, business trends, and performance.
  • Ensure the delivery of project management deliverables as defined for the size, scale, complexity and regulatory compliance of the assigned program or project.
  • Ensure proper Systems Development Lifecycle Management Regulatory Compliance.
  • Deliver fully automation regression testing of major solutions for reduced testing time.
  • Ensure application changes and fixes are aligned with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Change Management processes.
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with Pfizer teams through a high performing engagement model, including vibrant Communities of Practice.
  • Mentor colleagues on the solutions delivery team providing guidance on development best practices.
  • Manage projects through the entire SDLC process using the Agile development methodology.
  • Lead the solution delivery team COE for innovative technologies including Machine Learning, AI, Cognitive Computing.
  • Responsible for cross functional leadership on a wide variety of in-flight projects within RM.
  • Responsible for requirements documentation, business analysis and process optimization.
  • Must be able to multi-task and perform a wide variety of tasks simultaneously such as assembling presentations, performing technical development, testing, schedule business engagements, troubleshoot technical issues and peer mentorship.
  • Work with peers in Pfizer Digital to project financial estimates for small to medium sizedprojects.
  • Manage business request prioritization with peers in the Digital RM Creation Center team.
  • Organize project deliverables and release management for the Digital RM team
  • Promote the Pfizer Purpose Blueprint for all projects
  • Manage external system implementation vendors to deliver on projects according to project timelines.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a Computer Science or Information Management
  • 5+ years’ experience in a large corporate setting with an emphasis on solutions and application development.
  • Demonstrated experience of various Information Technology practices
  • Experience with coding on Snowflake and Oracle databases leveraging associated tools.
  • Experience with Informatica IICS ETL
  • Experience with cloud hosted solutions including AWS
  • Ambition to learn and utilize emerging AI technologies.
  • Willingness to take risks without fear of making mistakes.
  • Understanding of solutions delivery and delivery methodologies including Waterfall and Agile.
  • Strong organization and critical thinking skills
  • Strong written, visual, and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of Financial concepts and key success factors for business performance
  • Knowledge of management reporting requirements and functional design

Nice-to-Have

  • Master's degree
  • Relevant pharmaceutical industry experience
  • Management consulting experience
  • Experience with Agile Software Delivery and/or Scrum Master Certification
  • Competency in understanding organizational behaviors in a large corporate environment.
  • Experience with Contract Management vendor solutions such as the ModelN FLEX application.
  • Experience building relationships with both business partners and Digital technical teams.
  • Understanding of system auditing principles and guidelines.
