Summary
Apple Music is a streaming service that allows you to listen to over 100 million songs. Its features include the ability to download your favorite tracks and play them offline, lyrics in real time, listening across all your favorite devices, new music personalized just for you, curated playlists from our editors, and much more. All this is in addition to exclusive and original content.

We are looking for a dynamic, highly motivated senior editorial lead with a real passion for music to lead the Apple Music editorial team in Greater China. Music and human curation are at the heart of what we do at Apple Music, so this role encompasses nearly every key function of content creation. It involves providing direction and leadership across disciplines, building strong relationships with various interdisciplinary stakeholders, communicating clearly, setting priorities, and supporting the creative team\'s vision.
Description
In this role, you will:
- Execute regional editorial strategy aligned with global editorial and business goals.
- Define editorial KPIs and grow the Greater China Apple Music editorial performance.
- Work with cross-functional teams globally to create and deliver complex, time-critical editorial projects.
- Interpret data for actionable insights, creating a supportive environment for innovation and achievement within the team.
- Act as an expert in Music on large-scale, cross-functional initiatives, helping to manage and maximize execution.
- Correspond with partners about business, campaign ideas, content pitches, and interviews.
- Contribute to the relationship management with the artists in preferred genres.
- Articulate our platform and editorial voice by passionately advocating for Apple Music.
- Travel, as needed, within Greater China and abroad for meet-ups, meetings, and training.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Deep passion for the Apple brand and products and ability to inspire that passion in others.
  • 8-10 years running a digital content platform for diverse online audiences.
  • Proven success in leading digital content teams.
  • Highly confident in optimizing platforms based on solid analytics and trends understanding.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills in both written and verbal form.
  • Acute attention to detail.
  • Mandarin and English fluency are required.
  • BA/BS degree is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven success crafting large-scale creative campaigns with cross-functional teams, including Design, Production, Business, and Marketing.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working with Content Management Systems.
  • Strong connections with music industry.
