Description
APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Analyze and coordinate schedule, timeline, resourcing/staffing, and drive executive communication for products & software features. Plan and coordinate work of technical staff. Drive performance & battery life initiatives for various software and hardware focused features. Engage with engineering teams to evangelize best practices and pursue improvements. Proactive engagement with feature development teams with the goal of delivering best in class performance & power across our operating systems. Collating and presenting key metrics at exec reviews to help drive critical decisions for our operating systems. Drive conversations with teams to prioritize power & performance asks and drive resolution for operating systems regressions. Assisting the team with ongoing improvements to the program management processes. Overseeing end-to-end initiatives that require the coordination of multiple technical domains across cross-functional teams. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $160,911 - $205,500/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Technology Management or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • 3 years of experience must include:
  • Project Management methodologies to create and lead project plans for Software feature development
  • Requirements development to create and gather feature requirements for software development
  • Presenting weekly status report to executives/senior leadership team during feature development, reporting on progress of large cross-functional efforts, tracking Software Performance metrics and driving teams to get software ready for customer ship
  • Team management: responsible for leading feature development efforts and planning and tracking development work that spans across various cross-functional teams
  • Analyzing release health data: Dashboards and Bug Triage required to organize and distill bug to drive resolution
  • Schedule and timeline management: for large projects, tracking this throughout the release cycle, managing schedule changes and communicating risks, concerns and mitigation plans
  • Release management for large program release schedule
