City of Hope Medical Group Seeks Radiation Oncologist
Join one of the top 5 cancer centers in the nation! Our rapidly expanding, nationally recognized cancer institute we seek to hire a full time Radiation Oncologist to join City of Hope’s Department of Radiation Oncology at our practice site in Fullerton, CA. We are seeking mission- minded physicians as every discovery we make and every new treatment we create, gives people the chance to live longer, better, and more fully.
This position is a rare opportunity to work in a 450+ member integrated, multidisciplinary Medical Group Practice serving an NCI designated comprehensive cancer center, in highly desirable Southern California,within one of the largest radiation oncology departments in the nation. The Department of Radiation Oncology offers cutting-edge radiation treatment options and is embedded within a deep and scientifically-rich cancer center that has national recognition in many research programs, including DNA repair, cancer genetics, cancer immunology, genomics, radiation toxicity, radionuclide and theranostics.
Position Highlights:
- Clinical responsibilities to include outpatient treatment with the opportunity to provide optimal treatment outcomes with compassionate patient-centered care.
- Position is required to build out disease sites/service lines, help create Radiation Oncology as a program of excellence, integrate Duarte-Network relationships, and provide clinical care to aid the development of clinical and translational research within the Department and Institution
- Base Salary: $300K - $400K(base pay commensurate with qualified academic rank).Additional recruitment incentives available!The salary range listed is exclusively for base compensation for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual compensation will be adjusted for experience, training, hospital/community need and other factors.

Qualifications:
· Academic record consistent with appointment as Assistant Clinical Professor and above
- Preferred experience working in an academic medical center or specialty cancer center that delivers both clinical and translational research to patients diagnosed with cancer
- Be well versed in the state of cancer care and the latest research and innovations
· Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree
· Have or eligible to obtain appropriate license to practice
· Possession of, or eligibility for, unrestricted medical license in the State of California
