Seeking research and mission-minded physicianswhoprovide patient-centered carethrough clear communication and collaboration with members of the subspecialty teams.
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Department of Medicine whose focus is to provide leading-edge, evidence-based clinical care, emphasizing prevention and treatment of cancer and cancer-related complications. HIGHLIGHTS

- State-of-the-art facilities: 73 bed hospital, 4 operating room suites, 8 bed ICU
- State-of-the-art pulmonary functional testing lab
CLINICAL DUTIES
- Manage an 8-bed multidisciplinary intensive care unit
- Inpatient and outpatient pulmonary consultations
- Perform various pulmonary/critical care procedures
- Perform standard bronchoscopy/advanced bronchoscopic techniques
PAY & BENEFITS
Base Salary Range: (Assistant level) $348K - $???K
The range listed is exclusively for base compensation for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual compensation will be adjusted for experience, training, hospital/community need and other factors.

In 2025, City of Hope will open Orange County’s only specialty cancer hospital. This six-story hospital will be seamlessly connected to City of Hope Orange County Lennar Foundation Cancer Center. By opening the new hospital – City of Hope’s second academic hospital in California – we are fulfilling our promise to Orange County and completing the continuum of care for people with cancer.
The spectacular capstone to our 11-acre City of Hope Orange County campus is the largest new construction dedicated to cancer
care in the Western United States. Where other hospitals must serve the full spectrum of health conditions in our community, every team member at this specialty cancer hospital—from the nurses to nutritionists to physicians – will have a core focus on oncology.
- M.D. or D.O. from an accredited educational institution
- Board certified/eligible in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine
- Possession of, or eligibility for, unrestricted medical license in the State of California
