Description
The Department of Chemistry is seeking a full-time non-tenure-line faculty member for undergraduate-level courses in general chemistry and/or laboratories in courses in in areas of specialty.
The incumbent will be expected to contribute to the intellectual and professional life of the Department of Chemistry, the College of Sciences and Humanities, Ball State University and the surrounding community.
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or related area from an accredited institution by date of appointment.
Rank: Assistant Lecturer with MA.
Authorization to work in the US Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred qualifications of an earned doctorate in chemistry, biochemistry, or related area from an accredited institution and teaching experience at the collegiate level (e.g. teaching assistant, instructor).
Rank/title: Assistant Teaching Professor with terminal degree.
