Job Description
Summary
The Department of Congenital Heart Surgery is seeking a manager of research operations to assist with departmental grant operations, budget, pre and post award management and implementation of activities.
Job Duties
- Recruit, onboard, supervise, and direct the daily activities of Congenital Heart Surgery research staff.
- Assist in the preparation of grant proposals and other written research materials.
- Prepareactivity and budget reports for use by the principal investigator (PI).
- Partner with Chief & TCH department administrator on annual budget.
- Participate at Co-Lead on the Heart Center Research Operations Committee. Partner with Co-lead to drive in annual initiatives for the Heart Center.
- Manage post award research administration.
- Represent surgery on the Heart Center, research operations team.
- Participate in weekly meetings with Heart Center research operations team, Bi- weekly meetings with Heart Center leadership.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in arelated field.
- Four years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related field
