Temporary Laboratory Technician - Dawson Lab
Department: Cell Cycle & Cancer Biology
Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Position Overview and Responsibilities
Perform routine laboratory procedures according to standardized protocols and report results. Receive general instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new assignments. Receive regular supervision for most assignments. Support team to achieve goals. Expected to perform the following duties after appropriate training and time in the position.
Minimum Qualifications

• Completion of a high school biological science course.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Internet software, order processing systems, and Microsoft Office.
• Must be detail-oriented and work well as a team player.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of yeast culturing.
• Familiarity with molecular biology techniques such as plasmid purification, PCR, and gel electrophoresis.

Work Hours
Mid-June to July 2025, Monday-Thursday, 8:30 AM - 3: 30 PM.
