Job Description
Summary
The ICTR is currently seeking an instructor-level non-tenured faculty member. The instructor will be responsible for supporting investigators conducting clinical and translational research studies.
Job Duties
- Collaborate with investigators on conceptualization, drafting and execution of statistical analysis plans for research projects and grant applications.
- Perform statistical analysis and interpretation of data for projects and research grants.
- Develop statistical programs for data manipulation and implementation of standard and advanced statistical methods, preferably with knowledge and experience in implementing adaptive clinical trial designs.
- Perform other tasks as needed by faculty including protocol reviews, statistical report generation, manuscript preparation, review of statistical literature, and upgrade of computer programming software.
- Effectively interact and present results to investigators.
- May also assist in teaching basic biostatistics course.
Minimum Qualifications
- PhD in statistics, biostatistics, or related field.
- 1 year of relevant experience.
- Proficient in SAS, R, Python or similar statistical analysis software.
- Familiarity with SQL databases.
