An examination of the principles and practices of the financing and investment decisions of multinational firms operating globally. Topics include foreign exchange markets, financial instruments in the international capital markets, corporate exchange risk management, international investment decisions, global financing strategies, financial crises, and related issues. As such, this course extends financial management and investment to the international environment.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree in Finance or a closely related field and a recent publication record in the field, OR
- A master's degree in finance or a closely related field and five years of current, relevant professional experience.
- Candidates should have a successful record of teaching experience at the undergraduate level and experience/familiarity with online/hybrid instruction in order to prepare for contingencies. This position requires all course work to be performed in the state of California. Candidates must perform all course-related work within the state of California.
Salary: $6,480 and $10,308 dependent on qualifications. The salary range for this position is covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the College and SEIU 1021, who have previously taught the course or BUSAD 135, available here.
